Javier Garcia Gomez is Ericsson Chief Technical Officer (CTO) for Europe and Latin America based in Madrid, Spain. In this role Javier oversees technology and architecture strategy for main Ericsson´s customers in the region and supports Ericsson business areas and global technology functions with overall strategic alignment and direction. Javier works across multiple telecommunications network technology areas like radio, transport, core, cloud, management and orchestration. Prior to this role Javier worked as account CTO in Customer Unit AT&T at Ericsson based in Dallas, USA. 

Javier has more than 20 years of experience in ICT working different roles as Technology Leader in several technology suppliers like Nortel, Alcatel-Lucent and Ericsson. He has ample international experience working in network engineering, product management, product marketing, business development and sales support roles in several countries like Spain, France, India, Sweden and USA. He holds a MSc in Telecommunications Engineering from University of Valencia, Spain and the Technical University of Berlin, Germany.
